We're taking the revolution to Norfolk!

16 June 2022

The inaugural season of Turismo X has kickstarted with a bang! After two exciting and closely-fought rounds, we now head to Snetterton’s 300 circuit for the third installment of the club racing revolution.

We expect a highly entertaining championship round, with the team’s high-powered machinery likely to be tested by the 300 configuration’s perfect blend of fast straights and tight corners. The thrilling technical infield section, containing the likes of: Agostini, Hamilton and Oggies will assess driver performance, while the long Bentley and Senna Straights will provide good opportunity to line championship rivals up for an overtake.

The popular 300 circuit was designed by Jonathan Palmer and inspired by a number of the world’s leading motor racing venues, making it today a renowned staple of UK motorsport. As such, it hosts a variety of prestigious events on both two and four wheels, such as: British Touring Car, British Superbikes and British GT Championship – so Turismo X is certainly in good company!

Overall championship leader Adam Blair (Darkside Developments #11) extended his lead at the top last time out, now sitting 17 points ahead of NJM Racing’s Dylan Brytcha in second. There is still plenty of racing to come this season though, and there are a number of drivers alongside Brytcha who will be keen to reduce Blair’s lead come the end of round three. Scott Parkin (Darkside Developments #12) currently leads the way in Class A, with a narrow lead over PJS. Heading into the latest round, AB Motorsport and Team Norfolk lead the way in Class X and B respectively.

Full championship standings can be found here, while our comprehensive race report from round two of Turismo X can be found here.
